Accessibility

The Khanenko Museum strives to be open, accessible and responsive to the needs of different audiences. We are gradually expanding our inclusive opportunities by creating an environment in which art can be a shared experience for everyone – regardless of age, experience, mobility or sensory perception.

Collaboration:

We are open to partnerships with organisations that support various communities – in particular, people with disabilities, combatants, people with post-traumatic experiences or mental disabilities.

Together, we are already implementing events for groups of people with hearing impairments, conducting inclusive workshops and supporting initiatives that make the museum space even more accessible.

A Space Open to Everyone

The Museum consistently implements inclusive practices:

  • information stands with Braille and tactile replicas in the galleries;

  • “Long Thursdays” — extended opening hours for visitors with varied schedules;

  • complimentary tickets for military personnel and their families at concert programs.

We invite you to engage in dialogue:

If you represent an organisation or initiative that is interested in cooperation, please contact us. We are open to creating new formats and joint projects.

The Khanenko Museum began developing its inclusive approach in 2008.

Since then, the museum team has been constantly providing people with disabilities with opportunities for a full life and personal development.
